I expected this book to make me all rage-y and angst-y like most feminist books do

But instead what happened is that it totally explained all the reasons my husband and I fight... all the things that have made our life since having kids so... *hard.* And then I didn't have to be mad at my husband anymore and I didn't have to be mad at myself anymore and it was just such a... *relief.* God bless you Joan Williams.

I think these books all have the same plot

girl meets boy. girl is stunned by boy's beauty and, yanno, his superpowers. prickly and problematic romance ensues.

so what does it say about me if I thoroughly enjoyed all of them?

The problem with authors you love

is that, realistically, they can only pump out a book every year or so.

meanwhile, you finish the book in two days (because sleep? who needs it!) and there are 363 days left to fill.

Rosemary? If we ever meet up I'm going to force you to come to Chili's with me so that I can fawn on you. Just so you're prepared for that and everything.

[the splendor falls]

When I finished this book, I put on my shoes and immediately went to B&N for the sequel; oh yeah, and it was Sunday.

Meaning: when faced with the choice between more Maggie Quinn and eternal salvation?

I chose Maggie Quinn.
